Employee Spotlight: Records Management Supervisor
The Puzzle Piece That Could Make You Money
Family Vacations Don't Have to Cost a Fortune
Did You Know?

Records Center Supervisor, Jill Gray, is a staple employee at Priority. Effectively working in the records management department, Jill services clients, processes work orders and oversees daily customer service operations. It is also within her scope to ensure that warehouse and CSR employees are efficient and productive while making use of their time wisely.

When Jill is not working at Priority she indulges in such hobbies as Ice Hockey and watching Philadelphia’s own professional Ice Hockey team; the Flyers. An avid listener of music, you might also find Jill watching movies. Heck, she might even be watching a French movie! That’s right! Jill is currently teaching herself the French language.

Priority would like to thank Jill Gray for all of her hard work and excellence. Her efforts are appreciated and the significance of her work certainly does not go unnoticed. We are grateful to have her on board, here at Priority!

Many people believe the only thing that is going to increase their earnings is a great new idea, or more efficient business practices. However, there is a great deal to be said for also approaching business with the right mindset. Those who can approach their work with optimism tend to see the best in every situation. This leads to a series of events which results in those with an outlook of true optimism making more money than those who might take a more pessimistic view of life.

So how can optimism make you money? In more ways than you might realize. First of all, the optimistic person does not view a situation as something cannot be accomplished, but instead looks at obstacles as exciting challenges to overcome. These people become problem solvers and innovators because they are able to see potential in every situation.

The next big piece of the earnings puzzle comes in the way that you deal with people. In order to be successful in any industry, you're either going to have to be good at dealing with customers, clients, partners, or employers. Optimistic people tend to do far better with all of these people. Optimism means being positive and having a good outlook. For that reason, these people are generally enjoyable to be around. No one wants to do business with someone that it is negative, and pessimistic people will lose clients or sales to optimistic competitors on a regular basis.

Optimism also breeds persistence, which often leads to success. The optimistic person can overcome barriers and objections through their positive outlook and viewpoint; leading to increased success in all areas.

So many people are trying to save money these days and they don't take the time they should to enjoy themselves. It’s very important to realize that you can have a great family vacation without breaking the bank.

Maybe you want to drive to your destination? Skip the take out and drive through on the road. You can save a bundle by packing a cooler of snacks and sandwiches (and probably eat healthier too!). Invest in a quick tune-up on your car before you head out and it will save you gas money.

Flying doesn't have to be as expensive as you think either. There are a lot of great websites out there, like Travelocity and Expedia that can help you find the best deals on flights all around the world. Remember to look for middle of the week flights that are early am or late night (red-eye) flights, for the best prices.

Of course, you're going to need somewhere to stay. Booking your rooms far in advance will save you a lot of money in itself. You can save even more if you travel to destinations during off seasons. Not only will this save you money, but you'll have a lot of tourist destinations to yourself if you travel in non-peak times increasing the experience and avoiding crowds.

Eating out while on vacation can be expensive, so be sure to budget enough for it. Otherwise, you can always hit a local supermarket and eat a few meals a day at your hotel, saving your money for one nice meal out per day.
