If you're on the road a lot, nothing makes the time go by faster than making sure that you've got all of your essential gadgets with you. Both fun and useful, having the right collection of gizmos makes sure that you're prepared for any trip, no matter where you're going.

Smartphone (Droid, Iphone, Blackberry etc.) In many ways, these bad boys are the ultimate road gizmos. With it, you've got an mp3 player that can store hundreds of songs, larger screens (many with a touch screen), web browsers, email programs and a telephone. You can also watch movies, as well as utilize many other great applications (apps), like GPS and maps applications. You can download literally thousands of great apps, including games to keep the mind occupied.

Ipod If you don't need everything that a smart phone has to offer, try an iPod instead. These great devices let you store all of your music and take it with you everywhere. The higher end versions let you watch movies as well, and if you opt for the iPod touch you'll also have Wi-Fi connectivity to complete that last minute email when you stop for coffee, as most coffee shops and restaurants these days offer free Wi-Fi service.
