Summertime is a time to spend with family, and finding time to enjoy together as a family is one of the most joyful parts of the summer months. However, one of the largest unfortunate obstacles to this currently is the economy. Unfortunately, many, many households no longer have the means to take vacations anymore or cannot afford to take the time off of work, let alone the cost to spend even a day at Disney Land. Fortunately, however, there is a lot of fun that can be had in the summertime that’s a lot closer to home.
One of the greatest resources that you have closer to home for your summertime activities is the parks in your area. Parks are one of our greatest recreational resources and yet they go grossly underutilized by a huge amount of the population. These parks are not only often beautiful green spaces with features like BBQ or fire pits, they quite often also have pools and other water recreational areas, a great place to just relax with the family and enjoy being out of doors on a nice day.
If you go to a larger State Park instead of a City Park, there are often even larger things for you to enjoy. Many feature a lake or a river that you can enjoy with a boat rental, or offer cabin rentals or camping spaces for you to spend a few nights out in the open. Camping in a tent is a great way to minimize the amount you are spending while on vacation, and yet is still a lot of fun, and something almost every member of a family is sure to enjoy. Check online for State Parks in your area and to see what sorts of facilities are offered there.

The recommended practice is to look for an off-site vaulting company that can provide you with reliable fire protection, flood protection, and theft deterrence. In addition, you should find a company which has environmental control for their storage as well as providing 24 hour access to your stored data.
One of the best reasons to deal with offsite vaulting companies is that it can reduce your liability. When you have to use your own couriers to move tapes from your facility to a house or any other location, you can increase insurance risks, such as house fires or car theft.
In addition to potentially reducing your insurance costs due to fewer risks, there are great rates available from vaulting companies. Larger companies might receive large discounts for volume storage solutions, but even the rates for smaller companies could be as little as $5 per tape per month.
Although some financial managers or CFO's might balk at the extra expense for offsite storage, a responsible IT manager can make their case to prove that in the long run, the value of the data itself more than justifies the expense.

Long Beach Island is referred to as LBI from those in the area, and LBI is quickly becoming recognized by visitors to the state as the great undiscovered tourist treasure that New Jersey has to offer. This island is over 18 miles long, and is home to several small towns and tourist destinations; all with a small, homey feel. You won't find overblown resorts here, and you won't see giant flashing signs from the usual suspects in the hotel industry. Instead, you'll find several locally owned, small, and full of character hotels and motels for you to stay at while enjoying everything that the Island has to offer.
Taking a vacation in a place that is not typically thought of as a vacation destination is a great way to enjoy some quiet time with the family, away from the crowds which typically fill tourist destinations to well past overflowing. New Jersey is hardly on most people's list of tourist hotspots and, for those who do journey to Jersey, typically speaking, they are headed to Atlantic City. By heading to LBI instead, you can enjoy a beautiful island, water sports, quaint hotels, and more.
Speaking of water sports, if you enjoy getting out on the water then a holiday to LBI is for you. You can find a variety of small marinas and harbors which offer all kinds of fun on the water. You can rent a couple of jet skis, take a fishing trip, or take some lessons in the island's most quickly growing recreational activity - surfing!
